| Chocolate Drops in the Maze |
Take time to read. This is one of the finest wilderness trips on the Colorado Plateau. First, we travel through the isolated backcountry of the Maze. Its extreme topography and remoteness have kept it wild. Our trip includes a hike to the "Great Gallery" in Horseshoe Canyon and if desired a hike to the "Harvest Scene" or the Confluence, all wonderful hikes. Bring a good day pack and water bottles. Hikes are optional and trip itineraries our tailored to the expectations of each group.

| RHIBs above Cataract |
Hikes allow the rare opportunity to visit ancient pictographs panels painted by an archaic culture which lived and hunted in the canyons much earlier than previously thought. Recent evidence suggest human habitation may have occured eight to ten thousand years ago. A startling discovery with significant impact on conventional archeology. After arriving at the Doll House by jeep, we'll hike to the river and continue our journey on the water.
 |
| Harvest Scene Pictographs |
We'll spend two more days on the river through Cataract Canyon and the upper waters of Lake Powell. Traveling in our RHIB boats allows more time for hiking. Please take time to visit the PDF resources below.
