Williams Whitewater Marine has developed the first whitewater river version of the RHIB (rigid hull inflatable boat).

This craft has a rigid aluminum hull with an inflatable tube or floatation collar attached along the top of the gunwale. The integration of materials produces a boat that is virtually unsinkable.

Extremely buoyant and stable, the RHIB allows confident navigation in rough conditions. RHIBs are the clear choice of the US Coast Guard, the US Navy and many other rescue organizations around the world.

NAVTEC's 19-foot Whitewater RHIB is built to withstand the most demanding conditions. For over 10 years its design has been tested and refined in the notorious rapids of Cataract Canyon on the Colorado River. Water levels there vary tremendously -- from high flood stage to low, rocky conditions. That seasonal fluctuation provides the ideal environment for designing a boat that can survive a boulder hit one week and a full swamping the next. Each boat is handcrafted to last a lifetime.
