This trip travels into the Island In The Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. It begins high atop the Mesas of Canyonlands and descends via the steep switchbacks of the Shafer Trail, into the Colorado river corridor below.

Your guide will point out natural stone arches, geologic formations and the features that many miss of the national park and the beautiful canyon of the Colorado River. The ancient culture of the Anasazi Indians left evidence of their lives in the canyons. We will make stops to investigate their mysterious and beautiful rock art. An excellent four wheel drive tour that gets you into the very spectacular canyons of Canyonlands National Park.

Times:   8:00 AM -- 12 Noon -- Morning Tour (#4-A)
  1:00 PM -- 5:00 PM -- Afternoon Tour (#4-P)
  4:00 PM -- 8:00 PM -- Sunset Tour (#4-S)
  Please arrive 15 minutes before trip departure.
Cost: $75 per adult plus tax

If you are not able to call, fill out the trip reservation form and the payment form by clicking the blue reservations button to the left · A $15 per person deposit is required to hold reservations. Final payment is due no less than 2 days prior to your trip departure. Cancellations are subject to a $10 per person processing fee.
