| Joint Trail |
Depart NAVTEC Expeditions headquarters in the morning for a full day adventure to Chesler Park in the heart of the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. We travel in heavy duty yet comfortable 4X4 vehicles.
Scenic vistas and incredible views are enjoyed throughout our adventure. Our route takes us over famous Elephant Hill, one of the most challenging 4WD trails in Canyonlands. We'll see Devil's Lane and Devil's Kitchen before dropping off SOB Hill, another point of navigational interest. The incredible landforms of the Needles are beautiful beyond description and entirely unique. All who visit here are in awe. After a relaxing lunch we will hike the Joint Trail to the spacious pastures of CHESLER PARK, one of the most spectacular locations in Canyonlands National Park.

| Stately Chesler Park |
Colorful and inspiring rock formations, pinion and juniper forest along with sage brush, cactus, active bird life, various lizards and perhaps a Mule Deer or Big Horn Sheep are frequently observed. We'll see ancient Anasazi rockart along the way, all under the vibrant, clear blue sky of the Southwest desert. Be sure to bring extra film. There is a strong possibility you'll need it. A good map of the Needles District is available for download in PDF format below. |
