| Cataract during high water |
Never before has a one-day run through Cataract Canyon been available. This NAVTEC exclusive takes you on a famous 100-mile section of the Colorado River -- under Dead Horse Point, into Canyonlands National Park and onto Lake Powell.
Our Whitewater RHIBs (rigid hull inflatable boats) give you a fun and stable ride through such rapids as Hell-to-Pay, Capsize and the Big Drops. These small and competent craft are very maneuverable and provide a great ride in the rapids.
Cataract Canyon is one of the most exciting one-day river trips in the United States. During the months of May and June, class IV and V whitewater is not uncommon. If you'r looking for a day of super charged whitewater action, Cataract Canyon is the place and May and June is the time. Call our office for current river levels and conditions.

Watch for wildlife as you take in the canyon vistas. Enjoy a buffet-style picnic lunch on the banks of the river, with time to swim or relax in the shade.

We leave the water at Lake Powell's Hite Marina. You then have three options -- return to Moab by ground transportation, by scenic flight or have your personal vehicle shuttled to Hite for your arrival.
Prices and timetables for the different return options are listed below. Please read the reservation and cancellation information at the bottom of the page. The high water one day Cataract in May and June is the best.

RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS: Call us at 1-800-833-1278 • One of our freindly staff will assist you with your reservation and payment. If you are not able to call, fill out the trip reservation form and the payment form by clicking the blue reservations button to the left • A $100 per person deposit is required to hold reservations. Final payment is due no less than 30 days prior to trip departure. Deposits are refundable less a $50 per person service charge if NAVTEC is notified no less than 31 days prior to trip departure. Sorry, no refunds for cancellations made 30 days or less before trip departure without exception.
